News & FECA Events - Past Event 2007 Halloween Masquerade Ball

FECA's Halloween Masquerade Ball, held on Saturday, October 27th at the Rye Town Hilton was a tremendous success. More than 430 guests were in attendance to help raise funds for FECA's programs to benefit children with autism. The evening was dedicated to siblings of children with autism and showcased the premiere of the video Siblings Speak Out which will be used by Autism Speaks in an upcoming documentary. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Cindy Alterson, Ph.D., principal of Devereux Millwood Learning Center. Joseph Pirraglia, 21, received the Inspiration Award for his dedication to FECA as both a sibling and a corporate citizen. The award recognizes youth involvement. The evening raised over $200,000 through sponsorships, a silent auction and casino games.
